Refund Policy
At Biteplat, we want you to be completely satisfied with your order. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines how we handle refunds, cancellations, and order issues.
Order Cancellations
• Orders may be cancelled within a few minutes of placement, before preparation begins — contact us immediately at +1 (940) 555-0123 or info@biteplat.com
- Once food preparation has started, cancellations may not be possible
- If a cancellation is approved before preparation begins, the full order total (including any platform service fee) is refunded
Refunds
• If your order is incorrect or missing items, please contact us within 24 hours
- We will offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion
- Refunds are processed via our payment processor (Finix) back to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement
- When a partial refund is issued on an order that included a platform service fee, the platform fee is refunded proportionally to the amount refunded
Quality Issues
• If you are unsatisfied with the quality of your food, please contact us within 24 hours with details
- We may request a photo of the item for verification
- We will work with you to resolve the issue fairly
Chargebacks and Disputes
• Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer — most issues are resolved faster this way
- If a chargeback is filed, Biteplat and Finix may share your order, delivery, and consent records with your bank as evidence
Third-Party Delivery Orders
• For orders placed through third-party delivery platforms (UberEats, DoorDash, Grubhub, etc.), please contact the respective platform for refund requests
- We are not responsible for delivery-related issues handled by third-party services
Catering Orders
• Catering cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled event
- Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee
- Custom or large catering orders may have different cancellation terms discussed at the time of booking
